Hariri Assaults Resistance Arms because he Lost Power: Head of Arab Unification Party

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Head of Arab Unification Party Wiam Wahhab considered that caretaker PM Saad Hariri is aware of what he wants, clarifying that he seeks power, and that is why he threatened to stand against the resistance arms if he didn't purchase power.

In a TV interview, Wahhab confirmed that the resistance arms cannot be questioned by anyone for what it resembles in the conflict with "Israel".

In this context, he added, "Saad Netanyahu and Fouad Lieberman are the leaders in refusing the arms [resistance's weapons]".

Furthermore, Wahhab believed that Hariri's relation with Saudi Arabia is good, and that the anti-resistance arms' issue is more of a Saudi decision implemented by Hariri.
On this level, Wiam Wahhab stated that Riyadh hasn't yet learned from what happened with former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak after the popular revolution succeeded.

Wahhab pointed out that Hariri's team was the first to use weapons against the new majority, adding, "We are not afraid of the indictment, and it seems that the Pre-Trial Judge Daniel Fransen has given the indictment back to the General Prosecutor Daniel Bellemare for not having enough information and evidences. This is evidence on the ridicule and politicization of the indictment".

Head of Arab Unification Party affirmed, "No place for a Sunni Shiite conflict today, and protesting is no longer works". On this level, he referred to that the former opposition team [March 8] held a sit-in protest for a year and a half, but then PM Fouad Siniora did not give up his position.

Wahhab confirmed that the opposition should have a serious plan to take over power and purify it from all defects of Hariri and Siniora, stressing that the new government will be political and monochromatic, without any technocratic representatives.
